Mindfulness at work is simply good business

Organizations around the globe are implementing mindfulness training to prevent stress and burnout, enhance productivity and creativity, and reduce costs of employee absenteeism. In fact, 22% of employers, from leading companies like Google, General Mills, Aetna, and Patagonia, offer mindfulness training.

We help integrate mindfulness into the workplace by carefully curating a program of mindfulness workshops and activities— all aligned with your organization’s culture, vision, budget, and schedule. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced to work within a broad range of professional environments.

We work with all types of organizations—from corporations to start-ups— within a wide variety of sectors.

The Return on Investment of Mindfulness Training

Growing evidence has shown that mindfulness programs in the workplace lower stress, increase mental focus, and promote employee engagement and retention. Aetna calculates that productivity gains alone are equivalent to an 11:1 return on investment, while a highly stressed employee costs their company an extra $2,000 per year in healthcare (Source: David Gelles, Mindful Work).

Program Examples

Workplace Wellness

We work closely with you to customize a program that meets your organization’s specific mission and interests. We’ve listed below a few examples of the types of programs we offer.

It all starts with a conversation, so please get in touch to let us know what you have in mind.

Introduction to Mindfulness

Introduce mindfulness to your teams, and inspire them to learn more. Sessions are engaging, informational, and experiential. Ideal for lunch-and-learns or staff meetings, these intros include take-away tips that allow participants to try mindfulness for themselves beyond the end of the session.

Mindfulness Workshops

Invest in sustainable skills for your team with a mindfulness course that runs over a series of weeks. Successive sessions promote the progressive development of mindfulness skills and bring about lasting, healthy changes in the individual participants and in your organization’s culture.

Day Retreats

Day retreats are a great way to break away from work-day settings and routines, to shift paradigms, and to “replenish the well” for hard-working teams. We consult with you to design retreat programming that fits your organization’s goals and culture. Retreats can be on- or off-site and typically include stress-busting meditations, come-as-you-are yoga, mindful communication training, and other elements customized to meet your needs.

Workplace Resilience Training

Change happens. No matter whether it is welcome or not, change is inherently stressful. Our resilience training accepts stress as a given, and helps people and organizations build stress hardiness — the positive response to stress that minimizes its negative impact. We equip teams with evidence-based mindfulness skills to help them embrace challenge as opportunity for growth and learning and to focus their energies where they are most needed — on the things they can control. We work with you to customize trainings that meet your organization’s specific needs and goals.
